Space shuttle miniature model - 2020

This practical miniature space suttle appears at the very end of my bachelor’s degree graduation short film BEYOND THE REALM. Just like the main character’s costume, I wanted the design language to be very utilitarian and efficient in its functionality and feel like a heavy duty vehicle made to survide in a harsh unforgiving alien unvironment.

I mostly used 3D printing to make these models. Starting by digital modeling on Rhinoceros then printing with the Prusa I3 MK3 and finishing the model with painting and weathering.
